Exclamation Carb tuning?

I was thinking about buying a car from a guy, and he said that the car had a carborator on it and the jets in it were made for a v8. What should I do to correct this, change the jets? or could i plug one of them up ? I need help.

ok so let me make sure i understand you its "a" car with "a" carb well if its "a" v-8 you should leave them alone if its not a "v8" i would think you would want to change the jets to what ever the engine needs(just a guess ). well actually since you considered pluging one you really shouldn't do anything but pay someone to tune your carb for you and than read about carb tunning.

what kind of a reply were you looking for?

it's a rotary wit carb that has v8 jets. I was thinking about buying off a guy on here cuz hes only charging 800. He told me that the car is running really rich cuz I wanted to drive it home, but he said i couldn't because it would melt or **** the plugs up somthing like that. If I could get a solution to the prob the maby I could fix it so it could be drivin home.
