3 stages of injection?

Anyone know what ecu can control injectors in 3 stages? Bank 1,2, and 3?

That's a good question, and I've never found one that does more than two!
It would be clutter, but at least you could put to good use all those "little" injectors you for laying around the garage... :P

Damn so basically one would have to run an additional injector controller? How many injectors can these things actually run? All I see are units that control two extra.

It can be done. I've seen it done on a custom to order basis from different manufacturers. I know Microtech does it.

I just found out that the ecu in the Rx8 controls the injectors in 3 stages.

I haven't done it myself, but with the Autronic SM4 you could have up to 4 stages on a 2 rotor.

It depends on how you want your injectors firing. The SM4 has 8 injector drivers, so on a 20B you could have 2 stages of sequential injection. You could then rig up the other 2 drivers to maybe control 3 injectors each. Giving you 4 total stages, 2 fully sequential stages and 2 bank/batch stages. This isn't even counting the possibility of hooking injectors to the general purpose outputs, and using them to spray even more fuel.

So running 3 for the primary, 3 for the secondary, and 3 for last batch (for a total of nine injectors) would be feasible with the SM4?
