2nd gen ECU questions
I've heard that the stock computer on a 2nd gen. is responcible for the fuel injectors spraying on the fuel to rich. Is there an aftermarket ECU that fixes this problem?
Also, i've heard from a few people that there is NO availible aftermarket ECU'S for the FC, true?
Thanx

I don't understand the first quesiton. Are you referring to the flooding problem?
Nearly every aftermarket standalone EMS will run the FC, and there are a few chips and reprogrammed ECU's available. Was there any particular EMS or ECU that you had in mind?

That is an excellent question. I've been wondering the same thing. I've thought about the Haltech, but I'm reluctent to cut up my harness, and I'm cheap. My computer is fried right now, and I need a new one, so stand alone, piggy back, I'm open for discussion.

I know you can chip the stock ECU, and I don't believe it requires a daughter board like the FD. MD Racing in South Florida used to do this, but I don't know if they're still actively in business or not.
