Dont bother explaining yourself.
DO IT and **** what people think/say. It's your car. If people want to talk **** on whatever it is you want to do, do it anyway and dont leave it open for discussion on rx7club.
On the internet/rx7 club, everyone is a pro d1 level 10 initial d gang captain and has like 13204809238498 experience points and seat time and anything you do to your car is wrong. You can either laugh like i do or listen and regret not doing what you wanted aka/think for yourself.

Dont post a question and then cry when people answer negatively.
Also, dont post and say "its his car! Do what you want!". You sound like a woman.

Here's how I set mine up... I made templates, and had them dimensionally transferred to CAD, and water jet cut... then used two alum. turnbuckles L/R adjustable so I can make changes to the angle of attack. The turnbuckle mounts, and chassis mounts I drilled, and tapped so everything bolts directly into the main alum. section...
Pretty straight forward, and allows for adjustability.

Wing below roof line is slow, **** air for the most part but at higher speeds will still provide downforce because the wing is still forcing air over and under it.
Wing at or above roof line is getting clean, faster, uniform-moving air, making the wing more effective and exerting more force. Wings with high surface area exert more force with less surface area if given placement is the same. Attack angle changes the force but will also change the drag coefficient of the car. I've seen cars with super low deck wings run what looks like 30-45* of attack angle on their spoilers to make up for the low profile placement to get more downforce.
I've seen mexicans give there civics and caviliers lift by running their attack angle backwards. I think the wings just slip and then dont give a **** or are trying to reduce understeer. I dont know or care. It's pretty gay either way.
My bike IS worth more than my car. Feelings are not hurt. I bmx.
And dont act as though i HAVEN'T heard of zip tied. I totally confused you with someone else anyway. Haha. Props for dressing like Evel Kinevel tooting questionable powder (i hope that isn't real).
rx7club avatar. Do it, you wont.
