t2 swap na lsd

Has anyone here done a T2 swap while having/keeping an na differential with an aftermarket lsd?
if so how did it hold up. I have a 1.5 way kaaz lsd and have thought about a swap but not sure. I hear and read people have broken stock diffs and halfshafts so still thinking about it.

depends on shocks and how you have it setup. i have drag lauched with et's and mine has held up to that! i purposely left stock bushings in it to help absorb the shock. which i think was key to it lasting. i also do road racing with this setup as well. im not saying its better by any means. just saying if its what you have and dont wanna spend the cash to swap it does work imo......

I had my NA / ATS Deftforce setup with my T2 motorset making about 276rwhp. It lasted about 6 months and I finally switched after the 5th time that I had snapped an axle stub INSIDE of the diff.
