Thinking about running my truck as a drift setup...

After I swap in the V8 of course. I want some bitchin WORK wheels, but they don't offer them in a GM pattern, do they? I guess I could just have them welded and re-drilled right? I want them to be at least 12" wide in the rear, but I want to stretch on a 225- is that possible? Also, what color clashes the most with bright purple? I plan on painting the wheels bright *** purple and want the body of the truck to just "pop" against that color. And if I put certain manufacturer's decals on it, would they sponsor me despite my abilities (or lack thereof)?

Thanks guise!!!

I can't wait to do some mad tyte drifting yo!!!

Yeah, but other forums suck and will probably make fun of me for wanting to build a unique drift vehicle, and I really don't want my feelings hurt.

I would try saving some money so you can move out of your mommies house before your 35th birthday.

Of course you'd have to keep from injuring yourself long enough to become proficient at a career.

I know!!! Aren't those mexi-trucks teh awesome!!!... oh wait, no they're not.

Also, to be perfectly honest, I think a LS1 swapped 1st gen S10 would make a neat drift truck.

Honestly- how many trucks does one see on drift circuits? I think it would be absolutely hilarious and badass to have all the hardcore drift-tards (no offense) get all huffy over a truck.

Well that kinda takes SOME of the fun out of the concept

Also, flat black w/ anodized purple WORK VS-XX's would look pretty ******* crazy.

I think I know who you're talking about and if he's who I think, he's a member of LS1Tech and now rocks a 3rd gen F-Body.

Gay.

There was a local guy up here drifting a 900hp drag El Camino and we all laughed at him.
