Tein Super Drifts or Flexes for an FC

Getting new coilovers soon, and wanted some input. The car is my DD, and will be for the next couple of years. I won't be doing any major competitions, a tandeming probably won't happen. I don't mind a rough ride on the streets (been on Stances for the past couple of months), but I will be going to college next year and the trip home is 4+ hours. So I'd like input/reviews from people who have either of these (or old HE's since they're now the super drifts). Considering the EDFC, but that wouldnt be for a while.

Other suspension parts are:
Supernow Camber Adjuster (Sublink)
TCSportline front and rear strut bars
Racing Beat DTSS Eliminators

Possible parts coming soon:
Super Now Tie Rod Ends
Toe Adjuster

Hmm. I dunno. Simply because i haven't heard much about teins. They dont seem to be as common of a coilover as they used to be.

I've had several friends with them but never though to ask what they were like b/c at a time, coilovers were too ******* expensive for me and i was too front wheel drive to give a ****.

You could always email tein and find out the valving and check the spec sheets to get your spring rate info. That should be all you need to worry about really?

I know the spring rates

Super Drift - 8/6
Flex - 6/5

I'm leaning towards the Super Drifts cause they're tuned for drifting, and if I get tired of how stiff they are I can always order a pair of 5k springs. Put those on the rear and swap the rear to the front. Assuming they're all the same size. Or by 8k springs and do the same to the Flex.

Super Drifts are $100 cheaper.

Super Drit - 1
Flex - 1

Superdrifts seem to fit you better in this situation. Save the $100 from the get go, and it's probably cheaper to buy softer springs.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Springs are like 80$ I think.

That says something. Chi town and PA have shitty roads. Philly is worse than Pitt....Naw, they're about the same.

******* potholes and cracks and bumps and "uneven" pavement....

Again, why wouldn't you opt for their basics if you're going to daily more than anything else?

Are the flexes just the same coil with pillowball fronts?

Pretty much, and the flex has the lowest spring rate plus the pillow ball

I just traded my Flex's...theyre cool, not bad for street use. Im rocking Super Drifts and look forward to using them at Inland.
