just test fitting them. I just bought some used tires today for $20 from a guy on zilvia. They are 235/45/17s zumitos hr2 or something lol? One tire had a nail in it, so took it to the mex shop down the street , they patched the inside of it and mounted it for $20 bucks.. The tires have like 80 percent tread left, so i was test fitting and wondering if it was going to rub, and it did lol But it feels awesome having 235s all around.. It feels like d1 setup muahhaha say bye bye to 215s !! im planning to do 17 18 setup for balcony next week, so Im just getting all the used tires mounted on my rims and ready for next week.. Im going to keep the fns in the front all day [17x10 235/45]and that leaves me two pairs of 18s for the rear one 18x9.5[245/35/18] and one 18x8.5[235/40/18].. Just experimenting with different tire setups to figure exactly what I like and need..

save your money and get something GOOD for the front....

feddies are rocks... except the rs's

yoko advans
hankook rs2
bridgestone reo1r
toyo r1r
MAXXIS z1 drift... all these tires rock...

it's worth spending a little more on the front tires since they'll last much longer than the rears... you'll love turn in on some sticky tires, making it easier to "flick" the car into drift..
believe this.

yeah I believe it. I was lucky and found a pair for bridgestones re01s for $50 mounted and balanced with 50% tread left. I had those on the front on the fns. **** was awesome, so much more aggresive steering plus more speed.. but the unlucky part was when On the freeway coming back from the track on the 60 at riverside I hit a random rock -_- and it slashed the sidewall..-_- yeah il save $$ for those tyress. Im starting to paint again on the side.. waterbased is expensive...

yo justin, your car is waterbased right? or are you hiding that solvent from the cops lol

Alot of money? What was it? Fresh rebuild? Ported? Super low mileage?

If not, that's a joke. Seriously.

Bout time you got some real fenders. NOW PIX.

Here's my drift car so you can stfu!

Right now, it's in hovercraft mode getting a once over. I'll post it again when it's "done-ish" in like 3 months. Note the jdm drifter tite sleepy eyes! Check my flushness! If my car was any lower it wouldn't be able to move b/c the frame rails would dig into the ground! WOOOOOO! Makes me want to throw up almost.

LMMFAO!

She's under the knife and has been for months now.

Parts list is as follows.

JIC magic coilovers w/ camber plates
MMR DTSS
XXR 002 16x8 0 offset on all four corners
205-55-r16 nexen 5000 fronts
205-55-r16 khumo supras rear
SS braided brake lines (comming soon)
Megan racing anti bump steer kit
Mazdatrix rear camber arm
Ebay dish wheel with jdm boss hub (modified slightly with set screws to keep **** from stripping/breaking)
Apexi GT exhaust (comming soon as i go pick it up from my friend)
Secret element tie rods (comming soon)
Energy suspension bushing kit (comming soon)
Custom motor, subframe and diff mounts (comming soon)

Mods list as followed:

Fenders rolled, not pulled yet.
Taking diff to machine shop so that bitch works some time next week.

That's about it.

Towards the end of the year i'm putting msnsII on it, slotted/x-drilled front rotors, slotted rear rotors, grabby yet streetable clutch that holds with a kung fu grip, hawk/ebc pads....uh, what else....... getting a sparco harness (cheapest certified harness i can find) and a nice seat, gp sports kit, d-max reverse cowl, 25-30mm front over fenders and possibly the same size in the rear, wangan wing like slidealliance's joint.... Doing chalkboard black paint on the hood and sunroof cover, rest of the car is getting gloss white.

Next year i'm going turbo. Hx35/hx40, custom v-band manifold, V-mount intercooler, koyo rad, dual oil coolers.....etc.....

Should be deece when it's done.

Im by no means super talented at the drifting.

but,595s are decent up front, Ive never really had any understeer.

Id like to rock some RSRs though this season, better fronts wont hurt at all haha.

Haha. Mistaken identity fo sho. My bad.

We work so hard that every 5 minutes we take a smoke break or go down the street for beer or mexican for hours at a time. That's why his integra is still in the shop and my FC doesn't get worked on for weeks at a time. Oh, yeah, that's one of those stupid jdm magnet badges. Andrew was like "put it on.....stick the suction cup one on your rearview too. It'll be funny." I didn't laugh. There's this retard who comes by the house from time to time. Has a turbo honda civic ef sedan (aka the noisy ******* flat black box). I'm sure he'll rid me off them. Came with my steering wheel and hub...... I'm sure i can throw my "jdm" horn buttons at him too!

More smoking.

6 toolboxes, 3 people working. Almost nothing got done.

I found this pick floating around somewhere among the fc threads. Forgot who's car it is but i'm sure someone will let us know. It's my inspiration. Not a fan of the rear wing but the rest of it fits. I feel this kit needs a splitter. A big one. Was supposed to already have it but you know how it is when you tear down a car that's 20 years old. You keep finding **** that's broken that is FAR more importaint than aero.

It's not bondo?

Jb weld!!!!!!

buahahahaha. Please tell me it isn't!

Broke *** ****. Trying to grind flats on the oe tie rods to pull them off.....since nobody had a 24mm wrench they felt like letting me grind into a thin wrench specifically for my tie rods. I had one laying around and lost it and then my cresent wrench stripped the ******* flats.

**** you tie rod

The lower ball joints where just as bad as the rod ends but i'm not digging up the pic. it's too dark to see anyway.

My omp banjo fittings and oil cooler banjo fittings leak like a screen door on a submarine..... It's always something.

We still haven't fixed the fuel level sending unit yet so technically i'm always out of gas, even with a full tank..... maybe not though b/c i've never put a full tank in it. Who knows? Who cares.

Everything else is getting adressed fairly well. going to put my s4 sport spoiler and a home depot lip on it soon and talk to my boy hunter about popping that ripple **** out of my quarter panel that my foot did b/c the car pissed it off.

I'll post more of this ugly **** in a month or two when i have something worth posting about.

lol..tie rods are easy to remove, just dont **** up your powersteering rack trying to break it loose.. some ppl try too hard and make their PS rack leak &dont use Nexens in the front No pistons! You will understeer badly... trusttt.. never use that **** in the front..even in the rear it sucks, it just spins too much with no grip. and for the info, the wide fenders I got were 30mm, and they couldnt even fit my wheel setup, even with max camber. I had to raise my car up and rlly high so the fender is above the tire 2 cm. My tire and rim is sticking out of my fenders like 1 whole inch which about 25.. This means I need my front fender s about 50mm ish.. My stock fenders may look shitty, but like I said they are functional, I can have it fully slammed and still full lock drifting with no rubage with that kind of wheel size 17x10 -18 235/45. with this fiberglass one , it looks small, and will rub if I didnt raise it sky high.... Im probably going to do what Jtp did and modd the fiberglass fenders so its like 40mm or 50mm.. but hmmm, after todays event I think its easier to drive when you car is higher...
