Drift the f*cking car. It's purpose built. Beat the dogshit out of it and post footy that doesn't suck. My car is on 4 bald tires, no plates, blown diff fail, empty gas tank, ghetto rigged unsafe steering wheel, insane oil pan leakage and doesn't have a driver's or passenger seat bolted down. I have an excuse....which is probably a lack of motivation to fix these small things i could have gotten done in a weekend. Your chassis "flex" isn't a valid excuse.

I'm just pushing to see it in action, that's all. Find a camera and a parking lot. We all know you street swang. Most of us want to see your car sideways. You have friends. Get it done. Pay jtp to put your helmet on and slide it around. We wont know the difference. Hell, he'd probably do it for free.

Just saw some pictures of tow-cars too! Ive used alot of different cars, and the fav is F250 7.3L diesel! Good pull and you almost cant feel the trailer+car =)
After i sold it the tranny failed after 1 month, that might be a big "-" and, its expensive in Norway!

Yea we got 2.5TD Hilux but they dont pull that good, they arnt that heavy and they are also expensive.. Again, the f250 probably used twice as much fuel as a hilux would do =)
Now that im a student ive "downsized" to a cheap hiace, thats practical when thinking space, but they have a great lack of power =P
OnTopic: Nice to se a FB drifter here and there! Not so many of them around!

my theory on breaking in engines...

start up.
idle for 20-30 minutes
check for leaks
change oil
dyno
change oil
head to the track
change oil
good to go.

Nice to hear a perspective from somebody who's motor see's hardcore driving.

Still driving the m3... But I FINALLY picked up a t2 to put together. Bad rear seal supposedly on the motor, guess it's time to learn how to rebuild one (meantime looking for a shortblock that runs).

Because he had no clue what he was doing. Sort of like you.

And he spent most of his time painting engine components rather than do stuff right.

1st motor Original 13b s4 na 270,000 miles. coolant seals blew. daily
2nd motor 13bt s5 jspec lasted for a year then blew rear housing and rotor from street drifting with strightpipe ,and doing burn outs...wrong setup done by JPR, OMP wasnt even plugged in. **** was s5 motor with a s4 na ecu and harness for pete sake. dailyed, ended up at 80,000 miles when it blew
3rd motor 13b s5 na low compression to begin with 80 psi all around, eventually just lost compression. dailyed unkown mileage, speedo broke
4th motor My first home garage rebuild which failed because I didnt measure the endplay and used the wrong spacer. too lil endplay, plus wiring was all fucked. stuck at home! learning process....
5th motor current.. my own street ports, fmic, Lucky7 built it, 2 piece fd apex seals, new springs, 93 corner springs, side seals, oil control rings, new bearings, lapped irons, s4 t2 setup.. so far so good. dailyed

Quoted from dk: "wrong setup done by JPR, OMP wasnt even plugged in. **** was s5 motor with a s4 na ecu"

!

Did you even bother to check after said installer? S5 mop is electrical and s4 is mechanical. You can visually see the difference and whether or not it's plugged in at a quick glance. Spikerderailed showed me that **** when he came over in his s5 vert.

Does anyone bother to do research anymore before tinkering with ****?

the good bits of Colorado are between Grand Junction and I-225, and Boulder and MAYBE as far south as the springs. East of I-225 ******* Kansas can have, south of the springs give it to Mexico or New Mexico or whoever, doesn't matter.

Pueblo sucks. It's like being stuck in a big welfare line. I think the backbone of their economy is buying junked cars and selling them for a couple hundred bucks. Everyone down there is wearing mickey mouse and tazmanian devil shirts from the early 90s, and sweatpants. I bet now they're all rockin "SUPER BOWL XLIII CHAMPIONS: ARIZONA CARDINALS!" t-shirts they got for free when they picked up their food stamps.
