my seat is a bottom mount, but it does have a butt pad that you can remove and gives alittle more head room. Id love to make the roll bar into more but i dont see it happening anytime soon

 

there is your prob, get a side mount seat, with bride or nams rails and have head room for an afro

 

haha that is why i have my firebird(behind the rx7) with t-tops so i had space for my mohawk

 

Whats with the front top mount intercoolers?

 

Its called a Vertical mounter intercooler. Instead of pusing more hot air into the engine bay you duct it to push the air through the cooler and out of the hood. The same can be done with radiators and oil coolers.

saved money is the reason for location. UI had a Tial in the stock location when I was TMIC.

I just inverted the up-pipe and it worked perfectly when I did FMIC. I know ideal placement is closest to the TB but I was on a budget while trying to refrain from finding someone to weld it.
