Advancing against the SRD 350Z top 8. this guy did really well. had a blast driving with him!

last match-up before going for 1st place. my friend Joshua Guild in his 403whp S14.
he drove amazing all event. his car and mine suffered a bit by this point in the day...

We get a couple different ones there.

The cheap monthly Drift N Drag is the back section of their main track

Trial By Fire events usually run Skid Pad or West track.

I'm runnin a 205/50/16. Its a perfect size tire for that size wheel.

Switching to a 205/40/17 would make your car look better, and it'd make the gearing shorter so it'd be a bit easier to spin tire.

205/40 is perfect for a 9. 205 45 fits on a 9.5 well. I'm tempted to give that a go. I also have a 4.10 final over the old 3.90 i had previously.

What you think, ilia?

airquin23, got any footy of that thing yet? Pictars aren't doing it full justice!

I agree bigger wheels would make it look better but for my N/A the 16's are perfect...When I go turbo then I'll put bigger wheels.

I was doing 17x10 fn01s with 215/45/17 and open diff in the rear with my Na vert.
I even blew up a pair of 225/4018 on 18x9.5 at the last session.
Connected JD coarse at Balcony no problem, even manji all the way down to the end.

Dont be afraid of big wheels, its all mental bro. If you think about it, having low hp and big wheels is like training wheels, kinda like drifting a stock corolla. If you can learn to drive with that, it will make you better.

16s and under look gay. Be boss with larger wheels ftw

It's a good idea to run the shortest tire possible, because then your gearing is shorter, so you spin tire easier. Switching to 17s with a 205/40 size would make your overall gearing shorter than what you have now, so the 17s would be easier to spin, not harder.

And NoPistons... I wouldn't run a 205/45, personally. Even if it's a 9.5, just put a 205/40 on it.

I use a 4.30 rear end, and I like how it feels a lot on an NA car. I think the gearing is good for the smaller techincal corners that an NA FC drives well at. If I had more power I'd run taller gearing like a 4.10 or whatever.

That's just my opinion.
