glad to see you like my picture. i had the black fd that was sitting in the parking lot not drifting . the only time i saw your car either there was no one around it or it was at the end of the night when you were trying to figure out what was wrong with it. if you come down to any of the other events they have i'll try to introduce myself.

 

Yeah, man... it was a rough day... at one point, my wheel was eating into the control arm... making the front wheel bind and stop... then a piece of the exh. port sleeve diffuser dislodged, and ate into my turbine wheel...

I already have the motor apart, and I'm swapping T2 exh. sleeves into the RE housings, and going for a large street port at the same time...

Should be louder next time... haha.

Yeah, the center iron ports have a date with destiny in a couple days... and the housings are on their way to getting opened up...

After looking at the internal ports... I am afraid of what I'm going to create, once I port this bitch!

 

your a brave man. RE is the way to go... My RE is a Frankenstein mixed up of re, rew and s5 t2..

Are the housing getting D shaped ports??? a good port can make great power but low end sucks... no matter what size turbo, or timing.

 

I don't get too aggressive with Exh. Porting... Just cleaning out the casting, and then putting a champher back on it... It keeps a little low end torque...

The Secondary ports are already pretty big... just going to advance them a bit, and clean out towards the corner seals for a little more volume...

The Primary ports are where it's going to happen though... they are tiny on RE's and so it's going to get a good hogging out...

Going to run S6 thrust bearings/plates for the tougher bearings and extra oil windows...

The main bearings look good, but I also have some new RX8 stationaries, that I may throw in there.

 

This weekend I broke my clutch pedal
