my P/S has been acting i'm i've been wanting to mod it recently and ditch the pump, i tried to buy a reman'd manual rack but couldn't find one. did you remove the bushings and loop the lines or what??? or are you just driving on a dead pump?

Once in a while I like to throw the TII around for fun. It has a manual steering rack. The only difference I experienced is you have to work harder to counter steer. But after a while you will get used to it.
And it builds arm muscles.

i throw it sideways with out powersteering. i originally took that and the A/C out as part of a weight reduction procedure. but i later found it its alot better anyway. i feel like i have a better relationship with the road. and i find countersteering easy. took a lil getting used to like everyone says. and i been loving my arms since
i plugged mine off. i cut the ends of the hose that fit, cut the just short enough so they dont stick out, clamped the ends shut, and had a friend go over them amd weld em shut to make sure. you best bet is this:

when i do my tii swap in april, im going to do that. the set up i did has lasted since august, so i cant complain, but i dont think it should be to trusted.

IMO power steering feels sloppy after drifting on a dry p/s rack for so long. When I switched from the 86 to the fc it was alot tougher to turn while parking though... I mean ALOT. As far as drifting goes it's not that much harder. p/s just helps move the wheel faster but if you are used to not having it you will do just fine.
I will be reinstalling p/s though. Just waiting on other things to be done first.
