looks like it is going to be a lot of fun! cant wait to see where this ends up

 

Pumped talked to Dominique from rotary aviation ordered ra super seals, springs, and o ring kit. Ordering 3 window bearings and deep grove rotar bearings Friday. Hopefully top it off with cryo treated Solid corner seals from Atkins and cryo treated side seals and springs next paycheck. Fingers crossed. Lol

 

 

Got some cryo parts in today. Just need bearings and cryo side seals for the rebuild

 

It's been a while since I posted on this thread. Two kids later and a promotion i started working on it again about 2 months ago. Here's a few updates since. Waiting on a couple more parts to come in so the fab work can begin.
Waiting on my Garrett core and atp end tanks to come in for that vmount setup.
Rebuilt the re.
Large street port with 13brew sleeves

Just started stripping and cleaning.

New turbine housing.

Had to do some trimming for clearance.

Barely clears.

Haha. Yeah been out here since 2009.

 

Intercooler arrived should start the vmount setup in the next 2 weeks.

 

Hey mate - what Gilmer did you run that worked with the FFE kit.

Just the FFE kit is clashing on my existing gilmer

yeah.. there are other posts showing the RW one doesn't fit now. Must have changed there design.

Ah well will keep looking

 

He says he had his machined, so I'm not sure what that exactly means as far as what was done, but that's all I saw in this thread.
