Don't waste your money. We had one and mounted it in the back of a truck to take to our events......... 235.40.17 on a 9inch rim will not be changed by that thing therefore it is useless. Even normal tires require lots of strength.

Or just make friends with someone who owns a tire mounter or works at a shop.

yeah I have, but man Im there like 3 times a week, and the last time the tire guy broke the guide for the rim/tire thing.. I felt so bad, because Im always giving them hard tires to mount, and they stress a bit overit..he broke that one one a 235/40/18 on a 18x9.5.... sigh.. and I cant always go there, only when they are not busy.. I wanted to start doing my own, Im sure you all would too.... haha I know as long as I can get the tire mounted, I can use the starter fluid method to perform the stretch..or maybe invest in a cheetah too...

nah some tire machines have a plastic head on them and the force of mounting tires takes its toll. especially if you use Bridgestones.........hardest tires to mount.

Check Craigslist, I found one for 500bux one time but nowdays 500dollars is a lot of money so had to let is go.

yeah it had a plastic guide, they used plastic over metal because the shop does alot of ferrari and porsche rims and they dont want to scratch the customers shiz I guess. and yes it was bridgestone pontezas that broke the guide..

Thumbs up

Me and my room mate use one to mount tires! It works but don't want to use them on "good" rims tho! We got ours at Harbor freight and have went threw about 3 so far! But they work ok!
