Gonna be a slow build....

Hello. Just thought I'd start a build thread of my own. I warn you it's gonna be a slowwwww process. so lets get started....

I've had the car for about a year and a half now. '89 GTUs w/ 95k miles on her. I've always loved drifting and wanted to break into the sport. practiced on the street with some friends for a year then the motor went. So now with a street ported N/A the real fun begins. I plan on going turbo in the future but i got a HUUUGE deal on this engine. I'm gonna concentrate on suspension upgrades for the time being and improving as a driver

Here she is. My baby Hope:

I just got her home after an insane 16 hour trip. On the way back from New York, where I got her, there was a blizzard.... fun times...

My first mod was the sleepy eyes haha

And heres just a few pics of me and my team:

i love my hello kitty haha got her in a little hello kitty store in time square

sorry for the super shitty cell phone pics

but thats all for now more to come soon. gotta get my stance right so im not such a poser lol
I finally got some work coming so coils and other suspension as well as wheels are coming soon. My team and I have gotten surprisingly good since last year and we're hoping to improve now that we're ready for further mods.

Mods so far:
Streetported S5 N/A with some extra goodies in there
Racing Beat header
Corksport cat delete
3" catback (on the way)
corbeau driver full bucket
Grant mahogany steering wheel
Powered by max shift ****
4 point custom front strut tower brace and 4 point custom rear strut tower brace
and some other **** i cant really think of right now.

Stay tuned.....

haha damn right. for the longest i was too concerned about buying parts and i came to realize im too broke haha. i just wanna drive the damn thing and save. but now that everything is together my priority is to just drive the hell out of it. i got a fresh engine(0 miles) the only thing used in the bitch are the rotors. i was there during the whole build process to learn more about building rotaries. and if i have the extra cash to upgrade i will but maintenance is key i was just to excited about looking cool. drift crash repairs are expensive haha so thats the plan. drive drive drive!

so my exhaust is ordered and on the way. once that gets in a little cutting and welding will be in order for proper fitment of the header to the cat delete pipe. went to the dealership yesterday to order my rear brakes. gotta fix this leaky injector. ordered new o rings and grommets from the dealer as well. new alternator on the way as well as a dual alternator belt. new battery going in as well. once all this gets here all maintenance will be done and ill be sliding her again. after im done with this landscaping job coils and rims are on the way. a little side work workin on cars will pay for a S4 TII diff. get that shimmed up and shell be complete for now. stay tuned for pics of the latest parts when they get here.
