TX RotaSpinna: One week til missile launch :)

Bought this 1986 RX7 a month or so ago to fix up cheap and daily. THEN, bought another 1987 RX7 shell a couple weeks ago to build. Well I'm tired of building and never making an event SO...

One week til MISSILE LAUNCH!

Going to try and throw this thing together for the Round 1 of The Texas Drift Series, put on by Fabricated Motorsports and Non Stop Tuning. Which happens to be this next Sunday

Done:

Misc. Interior Removal
Msc. Swapped parts from GXL
Full Tune-Up
Emissions Removal
New Intake Manifold Gaskets
S5 Steering Wheel
JDM-*** Screwdriver Shift ****
PowerFab Custom Exhaust
New Fuel Pump

Things to do:

Install GTUs 4.3 Gear
Swap GXL Differential
Swap GXL Aluminum Hood
Hook up Water Temp. Gauge
New Brakes
Install Coilovers
Shim Inner Tie Rods
STICKERS!!!

Pray the clutch doesn't give out

Thanks,

Andrew

if it's a manual rack you'll be fine! de-powered power racks suck at first, but still you get used to it.
have fun

I'm going to have to agree with slowgxl, that thing looks pretty damned straight.

Reminds me way too much of my first base FC, on 280ZX wheels and a 'vert hood.

Thanks for all the nice comments!!! I had a great time today just practicing, meeting new people and having fun! SO much fun in fact, that I'm now running on one rotor :/ But what do you expect for an original 143k engine revved up like a top

The car performed ALOT better than I expected for an old engine and a questionable clutch haha. May end up starting a NA build thread...

Thanks again,

Andrew
