Second drift practice was today, this time actually participated along with my friend Tim. Good times, got there at about noon and ran all day until 5, and only braked for lunch. Starting off, I was "eh" not very good just trying to get a feel for the whole thing. As the day continued, I began getting fatigued (I think, thats what it was) and started hitting cones and resulted in one of my mud flaps scraping my tire and causing nasty vibrations. Took a break, got food, and removed the flaps and continued on my way. Our (me and Tim) friend Brad showed up later in the day and rode along with us and also drove my car and gave us a lot of pointers. Afterwards, I improved dramatically unfortunately it was getting towards the end of the day so I only got a few runs in to practice what Brad taught me. So that's it really, sadly I won't be at the June event because that's the day I leave for Japan. July 20th is the next event, can't wait.

Damn. I didnt make it to Beaver Run today. Helova hangover from my friends wedding lol. Ill be up there next time with my FC going full tilt.!!!!

 

Hahaha sounds good man, sadly I won't be at the June event (leaving for Japan) but I'll be there in July

SWEET!!!! I see Calin got his FC rollin. Was he rockin his NA/turbo setup? lol. I cant wait to get up there. Me and my boy with a RHD s13 are finally runnin again so we will be rockin the wheels off.

 

Not sure if I know him. The only FC there was a black S5 turbo, I believe the guys name is Ricardo. It's a sick place, the track is usually the same. Me and couple other guys are gonna try and rent that lot for like 2 hours one day, just between a few of us so we'll get a lot of seat time. If your interested I can give a call and try to find a date.

 

You Suck! Just kidding it's always good to see one more person tossing there FC into the thunderdome. Just be ready for it to break if everyday driving can cause problems, (Although your N/A so you will have less.) Than drifting makes all of them 20 times worse.

 

good to see another rx7 on the track. the last event i went to i was the only one out of 40 drivers!

 

Yeah i think i burned up my clutch a bit and broke off one of my mud guards :P

not really, i kind of noobed it up, kept adjusting my suspension

but i changed some things last night, and.. i was definately being held back by my car. next event is a competition, and everyone's going to be like holy **** when did tony get good. lol

yea my coworker is letting me borrow his cam, and ive got a couple buddies who want to ride shotgun, so there will definately be footage!!
