Everyone has a proam car thread, so heres mine !

Theres alot of build threads! I guess I will include mine.

It all started out with this 1 month before xdc round 1.
Built my motor in my dads garage on a bucket. RA apex seals, new springs, new water seals.

drew a ***** on the rotor bearing before pressing in so the engine will have *****.

did a compression test of 113 front and 117 psi rear

dropped it in and went racing.

Rene Franco from renemotorsports did my fd cage. I had to sell my dd fc vert to get the cage done. Painted the car with tcp global paint-$120. Godspeed hooked it up with the turbo, wastegate, hydro ebrake and radiator. Rene tuned my car on his dyno.
I saved some used tires from pepboys. Thanks to all the bmw and porsche customers for the 25540 17 about 30% on the tires.
I seriously thought 2012 was the end of the world, so I wanted to do xdc, even though I was pretty broke....

qualifying run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSOWl...eature=related

I somehow qualified 13th, and went against george from AZ. He had a badass v8 fc, I was frightened, but I drove my best with all the 250whp I had.

it was an intense battle, my car was definetly at disadvantage.. I stayed high on the bank in hopes of having hi straighten out behind me, and indeed I did saw him straighten out, so we went " one more time".. We went at it again, and my water temps were soaring!

at the last run my car was noticbly slower, and the engine died The springs in the rotors flattened out from overheating

Gt wing was given to me by a friend who used to work at Road Race. He had it on his s13 race car, anyways it has a sick cross cable setup, it does make it more sturdy with cables. Il try to get pics when I get a chance

I think I hit the limit with my setup, Im saving up for a better wastegate, synapse, or a legit tial. My current wastegate wont respond to my haltech boost controller.. Hoping to hit 450whp.. Give the v8 guys a run! After this season, I may just tear the motor down again and reinspect everything.

After countless hours, Ive finally built a Godspeed turbo to spool fast! 382whp 336 torq@ 13psi. I figured 13psi is relatively safe boost for the engine, and safe for the drivetrain parts. Reliability is everything !
Just tested the car last weekend at Irwindale speedway to make sure its ready for seattle xdc and XDC texas for finals.

XDC Seattle here I come!
