If you are going to run a welded or solid front diff mount, YOU NEED solid rear diff mounts and solid subframe mounts. If not you will rip the tab off the subframe every time.

martin from psm told me you could flip the stock mount piece upside down and will make it more solid.

the damage.. also the lateral link was slightly fkd, so now everythings is fixed. swapped another subframe and lateral links.
also brand new racing beat dtss eliminators installed. Lucky 7 team did everything in less than 3 hours!

Lucky7 donated some drift spares... hella flush dot com?

There is nothing wrong with the mount itself, it's how it's designed. Stuff breaks a lot easier when shear forces are placed on it.

ive broken several of those (but than again im in chicago.. salty winters). I usually drop the entire sub frame, and go solid like the others suggested. ill let the axles take the brunt of the abuse ;>

did i miss the part where someone said something about buying subframe and rear diff mount bushings from somewhere like mmr-direct.com? did i?

---- also, i like to think that the cage is a major part of a car and it is worth saving up and getting a 'real' cage. am i alone? like isnt a cage more important than wheels?
-- this is part of my cage that i did a while ago.

they are bump stops from checker/Oreilly/Pepboys.

They come in a 2 pack for like 10 bux.

I snap diff mounts every few months. I ended up just getting it.

Although I need to make a solid mount for it because I already sheared off my diff mount and I have mmr solid diff mounts.

ive been running the racing beat front diff mount with all mmr bushings for almost 2 years now with no issues. i run a welded diff and have broken a few stub shafts, maybe they break before the front mount goes. --- is everyone using the little 2 hole washer on the subframe where the front diff mount bolts up??????? that lil guy is real important.

Maybe I'm missing something, but if requirements are just a main hoop and door bars, why not just start with that and add on later if you can't afford the whole 10 point shebang right off the bat?

we'll see. at this point I'm just hoping I don't **** up my rebuild. Still awaiting parts.

by the time the GB comes I'll likely have bought someone's old aero or some ebay knockoff ****.

good to know about the hoop + door bars. I had written off trying tandem this year just based on the expensive of a cage, but maybe I'll get to give it a shot.

yeah you need that 2 hole washer. Its like a brace, to give it strength... I had it, but still ripped it off.. But then again, its the first time and been driving welded daily and drifting alot too..

dood anybody try beer inside hookah? ***** awesome, thickkkkk smoke.... it hits you quicker..

I've broken the tab off once and sheered about 4 front diff mounts off at the rubber.

I've given up and have a broken front diff mount but a pinion snubber now.

haha nothin else better to do after working on your car in the garage with homies..

mango + guava hookah and in the bowl I mixed 1/3s of Samuel adams honey porter beer and the rest ice and water.. The ice makes thick /denser smoke cuz it makes the smoke cold, and the beer adds more smoke as well because of the foamyness and some alchy so it gets you more buzzed than just the tobbaco alone.. yeah sounds weird, but try it next time, its hella awesome. sometimes dry ice around the bowl makes it collldd tooo...

I sure hope you get a new chassis and cage once you actually start attending Feeder Events.

You'll never pass tech on a track with a legit host.
