well got home from deals everything great went to the doc for sinsus infection
lost front housing apex seal after driveing 3 miles to doctor limpped it home
guess deals wore out used engine . transplanting another used engine this weekend also broke my wallet...

Let's see...
1. My brakes were squeeking like a pig or a biotch whichever is louder. Just had the pad replaced 20 mins ago.
2. My Sat radio went belly up. WTF?
3. What am I forgetting... OH THAT FREAKING $700 SPEEDING TICKET! Grrrr. That should be illegal.
4. I inherited a million lil dings on my bumper.
I had a hella time. It was all well worth it.

nothing broken, but a hell of a lot of wear on the tires.
Just means I get to replace the stock super short life tires with some decent treads that much sooner. Hmmm maybe even some new rims at the same time

I didnt brake anything eather, but on the way home, some lady's hub'cap flew off her car and gouged the hell out of my alloy hood! other than that, my 1990 n/a is still running strong.

I smoked up my brakes pretty good, I reckon its time to replace those 24 yr old pads. And while I'm in there, slotted rotors, ss lines, silicone fluid, shocks and springs too!

Hey the event must have gone good if a woman can go to a event like this, get a $700 ticket, and say she had a hella time and it was worth it!!!

I did "brake" something. Here's some before and after pics of my rims.
Keep in mind I scrubbed/cleaned my rims the day before DGRR.

Keeping in mind that my chassis now has 115k miles on it:
(1) original bushings and pillow ***** are now officially shot. Super pros and new bushings on hand waiting for install.
(2) Idle Speed Control Solenoid died, thus the reason for my high idle. No biggie, I have a few good used ones.
(3) Speeding ticket about 10 minutes after helping get Carl's/mp5's FD running again? 140 bucks down the drain, what happened to karma? Officer informs me 80 in a 55 will get me $280 and mandatory NC court appearance, 'does me a favor' by making it 70 in a 55. Doesn't he know the FD can't cruise at 55? It isn't possible
(4) Suspension seems to be bottoming out a bit, my 6 year old Tanabe's might have finally died. Autopsy report pending.
(5) This one hurts the worst.....after driving about 1800 miles, a rock kicked up off the highway took a chunk of paint off my roof about 20 minutes from the end of the trip!
(6) Edit: last thing, loud buzzing coming from the fuel tank. I think the baffles in the tank broke loose on me....this showed up at the end of the trip.

Man, Sorry to hear about your mishaps!! I still haven't unpacked my car.... And this morning, I found a thing of coleslaw and tray full of baked beans in one of the T-shirt boxes I have... I actually found it because I started to smell something in my garage... You could of guessed how nasty the smelll must have been.. A week old slaw and baked beans..... Yikes!
