I'll start with my red RX-8

1. about 6 paint chips on my new front end.
2. right clip holding my front end broke.
3. warped front break rotors
4. bye bye brake pads
5. two window cracks
6. and one ticket for passing in a non passing lane. (no-points) and i was going 80 in a 35 so i lucked out.

I came out with a new ding in the rear plastic portion of the rear fender thanks to a pole at the shell station in maryville... note to self: next time use rear view mirror as well as side mirrors haha.

Can't wait to see that TII version. Blackrpm93 and I were just talking this weekend about how the REPU needed a turbo. It's almost as if you read his mind.

I think I toasted my O2 sensor. On the way back the A/F gauge was reading crazy and it hesitates pretty bad when accelerating in 1st and 2nd gear. Or I might have a vacuum leak. Who knows, I'll get to it next weekend!!!

Funny thing about this thread is so far none are the infamous unreliable turbo cars, especially FD's.

I know of one that went down while we were up there. I'll wait and let the owner tell the story though.

I blew out the clutch master cylinder thing, lost all my clutch fluid and by the time I rolled into my driveway, I could not shift from neutral into first without a lot of noise. Luckily, that didn't happen until the last part of the trip back But all in all, just finished off my tires and I'm pretty sure the brakes are cooked as well. Brakes + tires + master cylinder thingie + rebuilding the alternator and I should be good. lol Woulda been a little more fun if I had came up w/good tires and brakes to begin with, that way I could have drivin a little harder..but the fact that I drove up, had fun, came home with no new dents, or speeding tickets is good enough for me.

The one FD I know went down, went down at the gas station in Marysville. Something to do with his PFC changing fuel settings. Once Rich and Igor put hands on and trouble shot the car, it drove back to Columbus, Ohio with no issues. I'll let the owner put the details out there. Several people helped with this car to try to get it back up. Thank you to everyone.

Glad to hear they got that baby back up and running on Sunday. I'll post some pictures of the fun in Marysville a little later .

Man I did the that same mileage two years in a row now! I put 1200 on the Turbo last year with the Skyway run (added 200 miles at least for me) and the same this year on it without the Skyway. This year I made up the difference doing day and night runs on the Dragon and a little crazy side road that goes to Maryville.
