Hello everyone

i just came back from DGRR. For those who missed it, or never been to DGRR, they really dont know what they are missing. If it wasnt for Rich, (GoodfellaFD3S) i wouldnt had gone because from the pics or at least i was under the impression that it was a boring event. It sure wasnt though.

I got the chance to meet a lot of people there and a put a face on the name. it was surely one of the best events i have attended ( even though my car wasn't there)

here are a few pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/Rx7costa...taryRally2010#

i have also recorded the whole run from the passenger side and its currently being uploaded(2 whole gbs) so once its done i will post a link to that too.

Costa,

Great meeting you in person and thank you so much for coming out! You gave me some insight about the event and hope you could make it out again.

lol chudson. it was funny reading name tags and staring at each other for a sec.

I had a blast. I didnt know RedR1 was there!

Whats weird is meeting you all in person and having a pretty accurate idea of your personality 5 seconds into the first impression.

Had a fun time. It was great seeing old friends, meeting alot of people I've known on the forum for years but never met in person, as well as meeting new people in general. I see there were more people I didn't even realize were there.

Big thanks to Phil and Stephen as well as all the rest of the staff for a great weekend.

Hi,

Just wanted to say I had a great time at DGRR-X! This was the first year I was able to make the event, and it exceeded my expectations in every way - will definitely find a way to attend next year!

Kudos to Phil Sohn, the sponsors, and all the guys & gals that volunteered to help out - you did a fine job putting this together and your efforts were greatly appreciated.

It was a pleasure meeting so many like minded rotor-heads, and meeting lots of folks for the first time that I knew from way back in the FC3S email listserver days! All in all, a great weekend -- I had a good taste of the dragon, my '7 performed flawlessly, including the round trip to MD, and none of her parts ended up on the "tree of shame" :-) The icing on the cake was winning the 1st place 2nd gen RX-7 award in the show - something I NEVER expected in a million years! Coming from this group, I am truly humbled & honored!

Pete,

Costas,
It was a pleasure meeting you and thanks a bunch for the thermostat support! This was my 5th year to DGRR and despite my car being a bit moody it was awesome once again. Between the ignition switch , thermostat and ticket I still had great time! Glad Phil made it! Thanks to cabin 53 for the bunk. Ray and M T for the parts and troubleshoot support. Its the true rotary passion and support that makes this community special. Had a great time time hanging w/ the NE crew as well. Always a good time. Hope Rich got back ok. I'm glad I have the will power to stay away from bad trannys . Congrats to Dan (scrub) for winning best of show! Well deserved!! All the familiar faces from previous years were there and a pleasure to chat once again. I am sure there are going to be plenty of pics. to come. The dragon runs were awesome w/ it being shut down to through traffic! Thanks to the J-ville caravan for a good run there and back ( Dave and Mark). The only real let down was someone that keyed Mark's beautiful M3 at the lodge. Hopefully it wasnt one of us. Truly a piston head like manuever! I know Phil will not tolerate this type of behavior and would make an example out of this person !! Hope to see everyone next year!! Thanks to all again !! APON OUT ME TRANNY IS BENDED (SLIGHT A LY ). G

I did not hear about this... This is quite upsetting to me and I will make sure no one does something like this in the future.

I'm also going to send an email out to find out who did this.. If its done by one of the rotary guys, I'm going to make sure he/she will never attend DGRR and also make sure they will pay for such act.

If anyone knows anything about this, please PM me!

Also, if you have a picture of the damage, please send it to me: herblenny@gmail.com

congratulations to the retard who did such a thing. this is very disturbing.

Garet, it sure was a pleasure to meet you dude. we had a good time. As for the support, if theres something i can do i will sure do it. I called Rich yesterday and he said that despite the noise the car was moving so im assuming he made it

Also, for the past 16hours the video i recorded in your car is being uploaded ( its HUGE!!! lol) it should be on shortly

AWESOME time at the Gap, loved meeting everyone! Wish I had more time to talk with everybody, this could have been a month long event and I'd still wish for more time to meet and talk to everybody!

Rest assured I'll be back next year!

Holy crap. I saw you walking around but never saw the name tag. lol

I'm definitely sponsoring the event next year as well.

I skipped the second dam event because white water rafting was at the same time. I didn't get to chit chat with the Saturday only crowd as much.

I can honestly say if you Internet douche bags lived closer to me, we would all be good friends. Never would have thought that it was more than just a common passion for rotaries. Dale, you especially.

I tried to explain to my brothers how knowledgable Chuck Westbrook is. Their heads were spinning after dinner at Anthonys pizza. lol
