Alright guys...

Me and PureMdMa will be making a film about the DGRR 07. We are looking for few SHARP cars to feature on the DVD..

If you are interested, please post some pics and list of mods.

Just so we are all clear.. It will be 3-5 mins long and involves mounting 3-4 camera mounts on your car for some rolling shots! All the mounts I have will not scratch your car, but there is a slight chance it might.. I just want those of you to know this is possible.. So, if you feel uncomfortable about this, please don't sign up.

Mounts will mount:

1. inside the car
2. top of your car, looking down.
3. side of your car
4. inside looking into your gauges
5. hatch/trunk looking back.

Mounts will also leave slight circular watermarks which should come off with clean towel.

I'm looking for any generation 7 or any old school rotaries or new 8s.

Also, you have to be patient with us and spend about 30-1 hr... and time will vary.

We would like to start some Friday night, saturday morning, and some early sunday.

***Once people submit their cars, I and Jeremy will pick few selections and I'll let others to vote which car they would like to see..***

One car will be chosen to go from one end of the Dragon to the other continuously with 1 car shooting back and 1 car shooting foward, and 2 mounts on the car.

I'll mount some on the M3 so you can see RX-7's....

 

I was already counting you as one of the film crew.. and the Ram Truck thats going to be there..

 

My friend Chris (rednekvtek) wants one on the front dash as well as looking back in his TransAm so 7s are featured I'll have him check out this thread.

 

I'd be happy to have a camera on my car. Heres a couple of pics from last year. It still does not have good paint on it so I'll understand if you aren't interested. Phil I'll write up a list of mods and some more recent pics and send them to you.

You can use mine if you don't mind a using a old 1st gen.

 

haha i know you said 7's but i really want to get a camera run with my car.. i have a inside mount i can point at gauges, i was hopin to get a passenger with a camera, and a hood cam and a spoiler cam (transams have a great spoiler to mount a camera on hahaa)


so if you want me to ride in the middle and film 7's, or what i want to really do is make a ***** to the walll night run with the cameras set to nightvision.... get a couple fast 7's to run with me

As soon as my RX8 is out of the paint shop I'll post some pics. Its having a Veilside front end being put on. It's nice. lol

Mods: BNR stage 3, Non seq, HKS Twinpower, Custom Category 5 Fuel rail with 1600cc's, all polished engine bay, UIM, TB, LIM, Piping, Alt, brackets etc, CWR SMIC, M2 CF Box, Seibon Style RE Scoot Hood, Custom paint including engine bay (titanium grey), SSR Comps, JIC FLT A2 Coilovers, Racing beat sway bars, brace and cat back, Bonez DP, RX7.com midpipe, Custom Guage Lighting in factory panel, Defi Blue Racer Gauges, Momo handles, efini steering wheel..... hmmm a bunch more.

Think my wife would get a kick out of this too!

P.S. These outside pics are before the project. I'll get some outside shots this weekend. Outside looks the same except now has SSR Comps and black calipers instead of yellow.

I think Reese had that same kind of camera system on my RX8 last year. we got some really cool shots from it.

 

if you like comeback stories you can use my GTUs with bad paint and hopefully a running motor... i'll be the one putt putting through so my car doesn't overheat.... again.... for the third time.... oh wait, i don't even have a motor yet...

 

Maxed out ported stock twins set up. Extended street port, ported UIM, ported LIM, ported throttle body, All supporting mods for fuel, PFC, Apexi IC and intakes, Megan Coil overs, RB dual tip..... blah, blah, blah same as many others.

New paint and new carpet coming winter 2007.

 

I've just finished my V-mount and I should have some pics for you soon phil.

Don't take it personally if I don't pick your car,.... As of now this is my plan..

I'm going to ask 3 rotary guys I know to pick out 5-7 cars. They will decide at the event who might be worth being featured in our event DVD which I'll be selling this year (money will goto next years event and part will be used as a donation to ALS foundations). This video will be sent to Mazda USA guys I know, all the vendors and future vendors, and publication companies. Also those who gets picked will recieved the DVD for free (which will include video clips from previous years).

 

I'll be bringing a z4. i would be happy to mount a camera anywhere on it to get some 7 footage.
