I know some of you were upset that DGRR 2011 was on the same weekend as the Mitty... especially since Mazda is heading the Mitty and there will be several historical Mazda cars will be there..

Anyhow, I've finally worked out a solution for those attending DGRR and wanting to goto the Mitty 2011.

Pending number of cars, we will be getting a discount for those coming to DGRR and later going to the MITTY @ Road ATL.

Here is the discount (ONLY to those attending DGRR 2011 and registered)

20-49 attendees - $15 per person (normally $25 at the gate, $20 advance purchase)
50+ attendees - $10 per person

$10 for infield parking per car - This is charged by Road Atlanta and also to park with other Mazda Car owners.

I need to know the number of people going asap. Please put your name on here if you are interested in leaving NVNC early Sunday morning to head down to Road ATL for the world record breaking parade lap that starts at 10AM.

I think we could get 50 people... So, let start the list!
Once your SN is on, you will be cross referenced to the DGRR 2011 master list and detail information about how to purchase your Sunday, the Mitty ticket will be emailed or PM'd to you.

Well, its going to take 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Road ATL from NVNC.

Since the Parade starts at 10AM, I say we need to leave no later than 6:30AM..

Those who don't care about the parade lap could leave whenever they wish.

To speed up the process of getting into Road ATL, we would need to pre-order the tickets in advance and collect the payment at DGRR. So, please post here if you are interested in going to the Mitty.

Update...

Correction about Mitty..

When I first talked to the organizer of the Mitty, I was told that our group DGRR rotary enthusiasts will get paved surface parking and fee for parking was not mentioned.

Now, I was trying to clarify about parking and such and found out, you now have to pay $10 per car and now grass parking will be provided and no pave parking.

I just wanted to let you know of this so I don't get blamed at the end. If you guys are OK with all this, I'll go ahead with DGRR being part of Mitty.. If not, I'm also OK with not going to Mitty and just relax at NVNC for one more day and enjoy the drive.
