Reading about this rally made me jump out of my sit with joy!!! I currently reside in LA and was wondering where this rally is goin to take place!

 

Mountains of North Carolina. Specifically hyw 129. The lodge is in Bryson City NC. You should check out the website. There's pictures from previous years. there's typically about 300 people at the event each year.

I'm in the same shoes I've wanted to do this thing for a long time . And I've decided this is the year to go !

But I ahve a question for you guys . I have family up there that I was going to stay with .

Should I still register ? or does it matter? since I wont be trying to get a cabin

Saturday is the best day and has the most activities. Friday is great too as there is a nice long drive Friday morning on the Cherahola Skyway and it is beautiful and different than the Tail of the Dragon. Plus there is the group pic on Friday afternoon and if you get in a drive on the Tail then, it's much less crowded.
