Looks like Friday might be the fun day and we are going to judge the car show at the Fontana Dam since weather looks to be questionable on Saturday..

We are going to start parking the car around 2PM and end parking at 4:30PM. The "Damn Dam Photoshoot" will happen between 5-5:30PM. So, please try to be there early.

Will there still be an organized drive Friday morning ending @ the dam?

 

Robert, I am sure we can do an organized drive friday morning just like we have been for the past yrs, but we might have to cut it short this year or leave earlier =)
BTW. when are you gonna be getting there? are you coming with the huge caravan thursday?

I will be leaving Alabama Thursday Morning. Dont know yet If I will come through Atlanta and join the caravan or not.

I'm in for an early Friday drive to the dam.

 

Hi Robert - I'm game for the Friday AM drive, I don't really care how early it starts! Had a great time on the Friday drive last year, and it looks like Friday will be the best/only good driving weather day this time around. I hit the road early tomorrow AM from northern MD, and may link up with the northeast caravan along the way. Hope to be at the lodge around dinnertime.

 

I am up for the drive also. The weather looks better now for Saturday with a 30% chance of rain.

 

I'm in on an early morning drive. I just have to get my free breakfast at the hotel
before I leave. I think it starts at 7 or so.
