I can Text Phil if you want me to Howard? He would know for sure! I do believe he lives in Asheville NC so he is not far!
Can not wait to see you again my friend!

Hmmmm Got me thinking of bringing a couple of jerry cans of E85 and gouging the crap out of the price for those in dyer need; you know the ole highway robbery.
I'm hoping to make it again this year but work may interfere with plans to roll out on Wed as usual. Worst case I'll leave on Friday but may not be in FD if it's a short trip. The Scat pack does like dragon though
I'll be there in the SA. Shoutout to Pete and James. Hope to see you on the drive and/or show. Haven't decided what wheels to use. Its got BFG on the waffles right now.
I was there last year and there wasn't any e85 anywhere near Bryson City. I took (2) five gallon jugs of e85 last year, which wasn't much at all, which was fine as I only drove up the Dragon once. I'm actually bringing (5) five gallon jugs this year, which is only one full refill. If you intend on driving up and down the dragon a lot, I highly recommend bringing as much extra e85 as possible.
Very much, so unbelievably ready. The FC is running great and after a replacement of the drier o-rings, the A/C is working again. I need this event to get here, I feel like my luck may run out soon.
just did the Skyway, verified that the Tellico Bakery is not open on mondays, and the Dragon. not much of a view on the Skyway other than rain and fog. i really liked the sweepers. the marginal weather apparently kept most of the Dragon's in their lair. on the out run i saw 4 cars and on return a few more. i had some fun w a Mercedes on the return. he did get a bit smaller in my mirror but was probably adjusting his power glovebox. i was doing recon ( as i had never seen either drive) and driving my Mazda 6.
Here’s my former Cosmo at DGRR 22. Rumor has it the new owner will bring it.. Looking forward to attending with my FD and meeting a few of you in person.
Sharing my route to DGRR - for any North East peeps that want to caravan
I'm headed down to DGRR solo as I usually do, leaving my home on 4/26/23 (Wed) morning by about 0600~0615 (early enough to beat the Baltimore beltway traffic!). Historically I'll usually run into one or two of you guys somewhere along I-81 or elsewhere on my route and we'd do an ad-hoc caravan for at least part of the trip. So I figured I'd share my route ahead of time here, and see if anyone wants to caravan.
With my usual # of fuel/food/**** & leg stretch stops, I should arrive at the Microtel by about 4PM on Wed. Taking the FD this year. Shoot me a PM if you think we'll cross paths on the road and want to caravan so we can exchange phone #'s.
FYI there are a few of us going in on Tuesday instead of Wednesday to get a little more time in. Anyone who can make it is more than welcome to cruise with us! The more the merrier!
Rain or shine, I am ready. One last improvement before I leave was this premix reservoir bracket. The other side will have remote jump points, but I haven't wired them up yet.
