I signed up again after going last year. For those of you who remember my ugly and way too loud project, it should be back this year with a new suspension, a Greddy v-mount kit, and much quieter exhaust. Sadly, I didn't get as far in the last year as I would have liked to get it painted and looking freshly restored but unless something goes nuts in the next few months, she'll be drivable. I may however tow her up this year so if it does fail me, I'm not stranded 5 hours from home. Looking forward to seeing old friends and new!

FYI: All the single queen rooms are booked at the Microtel

Hey Gio, I noticed you just bumped your circa 2008 WTB post - nice FCs are becoming rare indeed! Thought you were looking for a stock unmolested one though? I molested mine, but only in the best ways as you know

Probably won't be selling my FC anytime soon - the FD is going to need lots of time & work to get it to the point where I want it to be, and I'll need the FC to keep me entertained while the FD is in pieces. That, plus I have over 20 years emotional attachment and way more cash invested into the FC that I'm not ready to let her go.

You coming down to DGRR this year? If so, maybe we can caravan down - my usual plan is to leave early on the Wednesday & drive back home Sunday.

I'm hoping to make my first appearance at the rally this year. I've signed up and planned on it for the last 3 years and it fell through due to not meeting deadlines to get the car ready. Me and my wife are signed up and booked at microtel and hoping to make it this year. 3rd times a charm, I hope. Taking the car to Zach at Addicted in TN for a once over and tune hopefully sometime in March.

Clean VR! Hope you make it this year.
I put off going for a couple of years and when I finally went I wanted to kick myself for missing those years prior....lol
It's such a great time for a rotorhead.
The cars, roads and people! Been going since 2010.. love it!

Only a little over eight weeks away!

I've got 700 trouble free miles in the FC now and on my way to Sebring and back on Saturday, it magically stopped throwing a CEL at cruise. Looks like things are going great, now it's about time to address the lack of A/C. It will probably be fine once there, but all the interstate cruising in Florida will stink without it.

Is there any chatter of this getting canceled because of this whole Corona virus thing? We will have people from all over the country traveling in. I plan to be there but with all sorts of public events and gatherings being cancelled to minimize transmission, I wonder if cancelling DGRR is on the table to whoever organizes it?

There hasn't been any discussion in the Facebook group about it yet, I may post today just to get the discussion started. As the date draws near, we should pay close attention to what other organizations are doing. This is either going to blow over in 6 weeks time or it's going to turn into a pandemic where people are told to stay indoors and refrain from traveling. Given the grass roots nature of this event and the fact that most attendees are driving, not flying, the organizers can wait a little longer to make a decision.
