Anyone from Florida trailering? I just reserved a truck and trailer, but if someone is shipping let me know. We can get a deal....., probably not the best place to be asking this, but worth a shot.
Why not drive up?
Are you just trying to save on putting miles on your car?
I should say longevity of the housings, not the seals.

windshield? what's wrong with the windshield? afraid it might blow out going down the road or debris off the road/kicked up by another vehicle and breaking it? if u really r concerned with it's ability to make it there and back, trailer it. that way if something does happen, u have a way to get it back home rather than have the cost of renting a trailer, and possibly a tow vehicle, to get it back home. or just join a caravan of those coming up from FL that way ur not alone on the drive.

I have no doubt she will make it. It is as solid as any new car......, maybe more so than some.
I know a guy that knows a guy that cracked his windshield..... it isn't like he can just call safelit or whatever that thing is called. He can't get a windshield.
Since I'm driving the ~650 mile road trip in my FD (each way), your comment about the FD windshield availability got me concerned, so I just did a quick google for "1993 Mazda RX7 windshield". Good news is it appears to be readily available from a gaggle of online Mazda dealerships. Which typically means a shop like Safelite SHOULD be able to get one for you and install it, or if you're going to DIY the job, Ray Crowe can get you one for less cash.
Drive up and spend the night just south of Atlanta where I meet up with the Pensacola rotary group.
We head out Thursday morning up to Microtel/our cabin.
Welcome to join us for the ride up. 👍
Steve
Thanks. As of now I may leave on the 26th and drive straight through. I had issues with trying to get through with Microtel so I got a place in Murphy NC which is pretty close by. As we get closer I will try and figure it out, but the caravan sounds fun!

Just an FYI, The old Muscle car building that we got to visit last year on our Friday Skyway drive will be available to us again this year! I spoke with Brandon, the owner, and he is more than happy to have us again!
For those that missed it..... You are in for a treat!

Did yall move the date? I was not planning on coming up cause it was scheduled earlier in the year (or so I recalled), but now I'll be in the area that weekend. I think Ill hit up the skyway drive and see the triangle powered cars, but I won't be in one myself.
I may be leaving Ft. Lauderdale area late on the 25th.... I plan on straight through, but I may stop.
I installed my Sakebomb's fire extinguisher bottle mount today and have my low boost setting of 12-13psi tuned close to perfection with the new ID1700s. I am excited.
