Get busy Jerry - My FC is going to sit this year out (see below), so your gorgeous black S5T2 will have to represent FC greatness!

I have a bit of routine maintenance and repairs to tackle during winter hibernation, such as leaking diff/axle seal, but my FD should be ready for its first DGRR road trip this year! Hopefully I'll have time to get it on a dyno or more road tuning time after the weather improves and the salt is off the roads to get my closed loop boost control fully sorted out. As of now, she's tuned up to waste gate spring pressure (7~9psi). Picture of her from a local car show, June 2021:

Congrats on the FD! Don't stress rushing to get the FD ready for DGRR, just bring the 'ole blue RX3! FD's are like a dime a dozen at Deals, mine included. Old school rotaries are rare!

What I don't understand (and what is keeping me from registering) is, if it's at the Microtel, those hotels usually do not have very large conference areas. How are events/seminars going to be held with space that small?

Good question, maybe post it up on FB page.... these forums don't seem to get much traffic anymore

When did that change?

This year Phil couldn't get the Nantahala and moved it to DGRR Microtel

This is correct to my last interactions with Phil. The event is NOT being held at NVNC (Nantahala Village) but rather the Microtel at Bryson City due to there are no longer cabins available at NVNC.

The owner/previous owner sold all cabins at the property. This caused us to change venues because those cabins which were previously utilized for the event lodging are now owned by private individuals.

The event is still scheduled. Facebook postings are updated more often but I will try to get it updated here soon. My personal computer is on the fritz and cannot log into facebook on my work PC...

Thanks for understanding and hope to see everyone at the event!

What are event staff planning on doing about the lack of space for conferences/seminars at the microtel? Like I mentioned in my above post, those areas are generally not very big at all.

No worries! Just trying to help clear up any confusion or rumor.

That said, while attendees are welcome to stay anywhere they choose....if the Microtel does not fill to 90% capacity for our event by April the remaining rooms will be available to non attendees and open to the public.

If that happens we will not have full access to the parking lot. So in order to prevent this from happening, anyone who is considering attending please book at Microtel as this will be our headquarters for the event.

Thanks all and I'll try to remain on top of things for updating members not on facebook and those who only check here.

What about my question? Where are the seminars, etc going to be held? Those tiny hotels usually have..well..tiny conference rooms.

That I do not know the answer to, did not mean to skip over you. Phil will have better information in regards to where the seminars will be held.

Do you have access to facebook? He usually answers on that platform over this one.
