Okay, so this is probably around somewhere else...but whats the thread pitch/size...I keep forgetting my die set at work, and the shifter is in a non operational vehicle at the moment...

I remember hearing M12 something....I think.

Got the shifter in the mail, and let me tell you it was well worth the wait. Can't wait to install it, now I have to wait on the rx8 ****.

I bought it from www.rx7.com. You'll find it under 3rd gen category > interior > accessories. I think the rx8 **** will work great with this shifter considering how well weighted the rx8 **** is. The great thing about it, is the **** is a 5speed and not 6.

Pretty damn sure its not a knock off, feels very well built and very well weighted. I haven't seen a real rx8 **** or felt the weight so couldn't really give you a positive answer.

Installed the shifter tonight, and when I really get on it the shifter rattles. Gonna try tightening up all the bolts tomorrow to make sure thats not what it's.

Just installed mine and went for a short drive; definitely worth it. Packaging was nice, directions were included, and no rattles. Now if I could just afford that exhaust...
