FC V-Mount

How many people would be interested in a V-Mount intercooler kit for the FC Rx7? A guesstimate would be about 1k with a radiator.

Post away opinions.

that would be pretty slick. especially if you could retain a/c and power steering. Maybe even some sort of vent for the hood

Would love it! I agree on the a/c and p/s if its doable, though completely understandable if you can't. Form everything I've read, a V-mount is the way to do it!

I understand the keeping the A/C and P/S.

Any considerations for different turbos or any other things?

I would probably buy one only if it kept AC, I just put a ton of effort into keeping my AC but would love to move the FMIC and get the airflow into the engine compartment

That sounds like a hell of a deal to me as well. Id definitely be interested in this setup if it retained AC and PS. I also think making it to work with the stock turbo would simplify the initial offering. Also, if the kit is a big enough hit you could add a kit option to turbo upgrades that would include the pipe to make it fit with the existing kit. It helps keep everything modular that way.

Hell yeah! I'd totally pick one of those up! I'm for anything that cuts down on the turbo lag AND increases flow the the compartment.

I'd definitely be up for this as well! Any sort of timeframe?? Or is it still only in the "gauging interest" stage for now?

I doubt it, the whole setup should be custom. i'm sure the radiator would not be in OEM position.

I'd have been down but i dropped my car off in socal to get a custom setup done. Please keep us posted. I know another shop down there has this in the works. Just a heads up.

We are really gauging interest on this.

Rishie, who is working on the other kit?

I currently have the greddy fmic. The thought of a v-mount would probly make me turn around for this. Although I would like to keep my koyo with your v-mount.

how are you able to make it so cheap yet other companies such as Neukin are offering them for $1700+?

We believe that performance can and should be affordable, and we do our best to make this happen.

sounds like a good idea. no concern for p/s or a/c it's already removed. i have faith, all your other parts are top notch!
