Sorry to bring this up after all the recent headaches, but can something be done about this?

It's bad enough it's really blinding on the dark blue background, but having light gray text on a white background makes it even worse.

Was this a VBB upgrade recently?

As I type this new topic using the blue skin (Technically "Dark"), the border is white and you can't read a damn thing. Ditto goes for auto replies and other things. For those of us that are using the blue skin from years ago, this is pretty screwed up. Can someone have a look?

Change the skin at the bottom-left of any screen, and you'll see funky borders appear all over the place.

 

I have the same problem. It started happening right before the site went down last week.

I have forwarded this to the technical admin for review.

 

Can y'all please look into fixing the blue skin? If a few mods or admins used the blue skin, they'd see so many bugs. As I type now in the Post New Thread window, it's bordered with a white border, set back into the blue page. The same is true for the section just below, for Additional Options. The top of the page still says Array[top]. Does anyone care?

I really don't want to sound mean, but it's been broken for so darn long....

 

You know I just noticed that. I guess I got used to it after this long

 

Thats why I use the white skin... plus its easier on my eyes.

 

could any member change or personalize the skin?

 

If they feel like it yes. You can make a new skin if you want too.

 

I have been complaining about this to IB for nearly 2 years.

I wish there was more I could do. I know how to fix it, but we don't have access.

Changes to the actual php coding are under their lock and key so it's not something a normal staff member or admin can do. Only an IB guru can resolve this issue.

I don't really think so, it's just not a priority to them.

Maybe if more people who had the problem mentioned it... but with only a dozen people complaining I think it will continue to be passed over.

Anyone notice that the blue/dark scheme loads very quickly compared to the white one? I am pretty sure its not my PC/connection.

I still have a slowing down with the white scheme both at home and at work/friends house....

your monitors not calibrated properly most likely.

I can enjoy sites in black/white schemes, I used to have my OS theme all black everything, or white and my eyes never hurt

The white skin seems to have some ads that it takes forever to load
