Whats the normal turn around time for a classifed ad?

I posted an ad that said it was waiting for admin approval a week ago. Does approval normally take that long? Just wondering how I find out if there is something wrong with it or if that is a normal waiting time.

I've tried posting a couple WTB ads in the 1st gen parts for sale section and they haven't been approved yet. I did one in the WTB section and it was approved, but no one ever looks in the WTB section. There are several WTB threads in the 1st gen parts for sale section yet mine won't get approved?? Just curious why?

NY

Almost every ad that doesnt get approved is because the state location radio button isn't selected..... see the title of this post for an example. International members should add it to the title, for example '///Australia' or something similar.

Choosing a state from the dropdown box isn't enough. If anyone takes a look in the FS section, all threads have the state location next to the title.

Also, there are stickies I took the time to add to every FS section, and I've made mention of it in a visitor message in my profile.

To answer the original question; nearly all of the classified threads are approved within 24 hours, sometimes in a fraction of that. We are volunteers and we get to them as we can. If your thread isn't up in a day or two contact your section moderator or try again.

ohhhhh. I thought the drop down is what put the state in the title of the thread. You wouldn't happen to have any power in the 3rd gen for sale section would enable you to add that little missing item (State of CA) to my thread from last Monday?

Thanks for the responses from the mods I figured either I dun goofed or the thread wasn't processed for approval.

Exactly...the standard answer is actually "from 2 seconds to 2 days", however, when the racing season is going.
