The I-Trader system is to help track the selling and buying of a member so that when you are considering buying or selling to that member you can make a better decision.

Posting false feedback like you did Matt (even though it is neutral) undermines why the system is put into place.

This goes for all members:

If we find you just posting up Bullshit feedback (yes, we can track) we will not take it lightly. We need this system to be used as it was intended so that it helps with the buying and selling process.

i think that this system of tracking buyers and sellers feedback better than the good and bad sellers area.because this way all you do is click on their trader score and you see all the good and bad transaction's,rather than doing a search on their name,or going through their profile saves a lot of time,i give it a thumbs up.

I don't believe mine is working right, could someone look at it? Everytime I click the score, it says I cannot access it. Permissions and such.

Anyone having issue with this system please contact Icemark or Drkilljoy so they can look at your profiles.

Is there any way to transfer our I-trader score from other forums to this forum?

I have a question: I had an issue with a member recently. I didn't follow through with the deal because he lied to me and changed his pricing after I had already paid him. I was going to post a thread about it, but was wondering whether it's just more appropriate to leave a feedback for him. I have my PM's saved so I have nothing to hide. Let me know how to proceed Doc. Thanks!

I would say that this is going to start now and go forward. Attempting to put through all of the past transactions would be insane.

Suggestion:

There needs to be a criteria for being able to put feedback on someones account. I have seen people with numbers already and you know that they have not made transactions that fast. Maybe a paypal transaction number? Something that could be verified. I have done hundreds of transactions on this board since it came online, but I cannot take credit for that. I would guess that you are going to have people with low post counts and hight trader scores because someone liked their comment in the BAW thread and gave them feedback. You won't be able to police everyone. Just my .02

Indy if you see something fishy, let a admin or mod know about it.

There isn't a way to enforce people enter any specific criteria with their feedback unless every single post is reviewed which would be nearly impossible.

I understand that it will be a real issue to enforce. I could not imagine.

The problem that I already see is that this has only been in use for a matter of a week or two and you already have people in the double digits. I could see this for people that are Vendors and doing alot of sales, but for the individual that seems odd.

Are we going to retro back all previous sales? Is this really even being looked at seriously or just something else to click on to get a warm and fuzzy?

Sorry didn't mean to overlook this. I think alot of users did indeed go back and retroactively rate some sales. All in all I have seen the iTrader useage pan out pretty smoothly. It seems to be doing a decent job so far.

Any thoughts?
