I am getting tired of seeing threads closed and people banned with no warning, no reason, not even a way to know which mod took the action. I think they should be a bit more responsible for what they do.
I suggest that anytime a mod closes a thread or deletes certain posts from a thread, that somewhere in or attatched to that thread be an explanation "closed by XXX mod, reason XXX" etc. and the same thing for bans "banned by XXX because XXX".
The current system has stuff getting closed or deleted and people getting banned without any explanation at all. This just leads to more confusion and several more "what happened to the XXX thread" or "why did XXX get banned" threads.

Makes perfect sense. Good idea.

if people don't know what they did wrong it makes it hard for them to change it for future reference.
letting other people see why threads were closed also lets people know what to expect and keep people from wondering what is going on and help prevent the whole "**** mod" theme.

as for reasons for being banned, haven't seen any unless you asked. I think reasons would help too, it'll be a bit more hassle for the mods but should work out better in the long run.

kevin i wish i could scream your idea to the world. i got banned for telling people to go and vote for democrats. i wasn't given a warning. i wasn't told that i was banned either. i thought my computer was messed up and i redid my WHOLE computer and deleted a LOT of important files because i thought my computer became corrupt. little did i know that some little character had banned me and had caused me to mess up my whole computer. the mods are starting to act like bad cops and they're acting on impulse and simply deleting the threads that go against what they believe and they're banning users left and right. i hope some mods actually see this thread man....

why did wonner and rxgirl777 get banned? this is freaky dude. it's like they're on a big conspiracy or something. imagine the mods that are doing this somehow hacked the system and they're really supra owners and they want to **** off rx-7 owners, hahaha....

Wonner is using that user title as a joke, he is not banned.
"rx7girl777" is a former member named SayNoToPistons that got banned for some flaming I think. Under the name rx7girl777 he was posting **** I believe, from the deleted posts I saw at least.

i believe this thread needs to be looked over again. a couple of mods said that kevin's idea was good, but i don't see it in action. by the way drew, i still didn't get an e-mail back from anybody concerning my banning on "rx-7 from heaven" and "double u tee eff". i sent three e-mails and many pms, but no reply. you've been pretty helpful, but i don't see any other mods or admins really doing much on this forum except pissing people off....
