Crap, I own my own business, a gas station to be exact, I better not try to sell anything. I can tell you from personal experience that as soon as companies see the word COMMERCIAL the fees go up. Any one on here that owns a business will know what im talking about.

This Forum has been on the decline for awhile, just like this country. It doesnt matter who you get to lead them, your only voting on whos gonna get us to the **** hole faster.

Yeah, especially Internet Providers and the like. "That'll be 29.9 oh wait, it seems that you are a business. That'll be 85.99 please." "I get a better guarantee of my connection and bandwidth right?" "Bwwwaaaaaahahahahaha, you must be young."

It's not going to be long before they realize that after pissing off a certain number of members, just as Casper stated, that half the forum is going to up and leave. Hell, I know that if ONE PERSON from BAW left and started posting over at nopistons, EVERYONE in that thread would leave too.

When you start picking out the veterans, this will not stand with anyone. I've been helped by Kevin a few times, and I always appreciate it when someone with a little more knowledge chimes in to help me out. Sometimes he was an *******, but he knew his ****, so he had that right at times.

$200/month is quite a bit. $1000/month is ******* ridiculous. I mean, combine that with other bills (rent, utilities, cell, gas, insurance, etc...) and this can get a bit pricey. People like to sell here because you're helping out other members/friends/rotory heads. I don't want to sell my car on ebay and have some ricer tear the **** out of it. I want it to go to good hands. I don't want to post up a mounting bracket on craigslist where people will have less of an idea of WTH they're looking at. I know people here, and I trust them. If they can't pay the fee and can't sell, EVERYONE suffers.

Man the internet goes down more at work than it does at the house, and I pay 3 times as much! Talk about pissed off.

Try having to run home and process payroll, because the internet is down at work an 3 miles down the road at your house its up and running FASTER!

Just a reminder guys, per the FAQ/Rules...

If you would like to discuss the reasons for a ban you may email us at admin@rx7club.com Any threads opened to discuss/debate/complain that a user was banned will be deleted, and the thread participants may find themselves also banned.

I urge some of you to let it go, as the attacks against the forum and staff are not acceptable.

Thanks =)

What it boils down to is a difference in worlds.

IB is way out of their element in trying to drive into such a tightly wound realm such as rotaries. It's not like the Honda scene, where pissing off a few people just causes those few people to leave. If the body of this forum up and gets mad, the forum dies. Period. They need to consider the ramifications and how they portray themselves very carefully before they make aggressive moves. Whether or not the action is justified by the forum user agreement or god himself, it does not matter when it comes to popular opinion.

This isn't a community of buyers, sellers, and enthusiasts, it's a community of friends. Friends do not need rational reasoning for abandoning a scene or revolting when one is punished, which is why it is so very important for IB to really pay special attention to the mood of the board. Murmurs of descent can quickly empty a forum such as this, and once it happens, it's nearly impossible to reverse.

Hi, we're the government. We jail those who are dissident. And we Jail those who talk about them.

Fail.

Thanks for fostering a hostile environment and turning the few people that improved this board away. The least you could have done is tried to work out some solution with him instead of shutting him down completely.

I think they already said they had attempted to do that. You gotta look at both sides. According to teh left, they said he was getting on other names and defying the established rules consistantly.

Not that I agree with the established rules. But in the admins defense, they had warned him a few times.

They did. He didn't find their offer reasonable, and from what I've heard they've been making a lot of unreasonable offers "leave, or lose money staying."

It's all in the way they do it. If they're planning on making a dealer section, then why crack down on this first?

Oh you can't make a dealer section because you're too busy handling the people that are upset because you cracked down before making a dealer section? How about they all go back in time, let things ride the way they were, make a dealer section with all the time that they have instead put into this stupid argument and THEN crack down.

It would have been what a month of the spam and such continuing when we had already put up with it for how long?

Whatever, just... whatever.

*Raises hand* What constitutes attacks against the forum and staff? I haven't been following this thread very closely, but did I miss something? I don't think I saw any personal attacks or out of line ranting.... was there something here that was edited/removed? I see a bunch of people questioning policies, and a few people complaining because their friend was banned, but I don't really see any posts that would start to violate the terms of use other than possibly the fact that someone started this thread in the first place. Which technically started out as a question/information and just kind of went wild.

Agreed. In the way it was conducted it was stupid. It doesn't make sense to crack down on sellers, and then leave them with pretty much no options.
