so how are we supposed to know when your F/S thread gets denied
so how are we supposed to know when your F/S thread gets denied
I made a f/s thread last night looking for a t2 rear counterweight. (i just need the measurements from the 6 flywheel bolt holes) and i see it wasnt approved but new other threads were this morning.
as annoying as it is to wait and see if it got approved or not, its even more frustrating when i have to play the guessing game to as far as if my request even got looked at, or just out write denied... sooooo is there a way that will tell me? cause im pretty sure mine got denied. and im really not sure why....

OP, you do not make a for sale thread for an item that you want to buy.
If you follow the rules for posting a for sale/ wanted to buy ad, you should have no problem getting the thread approved.
Just make sure you pick your state icon twice, once at the top, and once after the body of the thread.

RENESISFD is correct. For blindboxx and MaxFD, both of you forgot the location icon. The best thing is to follow this (it is at the top of every classified section):

If you follow that, you shouldn't have any problems.
An automated alert would be nice, but that isn't something that has been added to the software. We did manually send out PMs for several months after the rules were changed to alert users as to why their ad was not approved, but it is very time consuming to do this. I know that I personally spent several hours every day just sending these PMs when we did this. It wouldn't be a problem if it was just a couple ads a day, but it isn't unusual to delete 20-50 ads in a day for various reasons. If we sent a PM for each one of these, the good ads would take much longer to approve.
Take your time and follow that guide in the link. Make sure you have the location, an asking price, no ebay/craigslist links, and not selling something for your buddy and you will probably be fine.
Generally, we say 2 minutes to two days to get it approved. If it isn't up within a couple days, it probably was deleted. Ads posted on weekends (especially holiday weekends) may take longer as we usually don't have as many mods working the sections as they are busy with friends/family/life.
