Unhappy Slow database refreshing

I know the reasons for it, I know why it is, but...

The refresh delay for the database is a little annoying. Specifically when I get prompted for a new PM, then have to wait a few minutes to actually open the PM. I know this is in the same category as why threads take a few minutes to update, and I know it's to reduce the load on the database.

just sayin...

Actually, it took 15 minutes. it sucks for the fact that sometimes I need info and don't have 15 minutes to wait. but meh, nothing on this forum is really life or death. well at least nothing I'm pming is.

The PM delay is extremely annoying. Especially when you are trying to conduct\complete a sale with another forum member through PM.

Nothing is updating, this is horribly frustrating.

yeah I think the indexer might have crapped out today. Just my guess, because the most recent post showing in the thread titles in the lounge is from 11am.

Hell, it still says this thread was last updated 3 days ago.

It's kind of funny, because the vaispy thing still worked fine, and I was using that to keep me updated.
