Can this be enabled? I understand it's for performance, etc. But I really have hard time searching whenever acronyms come into place. Maybe make selective restrictions?

Words like ABS, TPS, OMP, PFC, OIL, etc.. really will make search simpler. Kudos to those people who realize the problem and don't use those words in topic name, but majority not aware of a problem.

And then you post question and get answer that it was discussed many times...

 

Three letter word searches have been enabled for quite a while now. At least a year or more I believe.

I found over 500 hits each for the search strings "OMP", "ABS" and "PFC".

Make sure also to narrow your search to choose the appropriate forum by using the advanced tabs "Search Options" section and selecting the specific forum to search or else your going to get way too many hits.
