RX7Club's Most Wanted

Somewhere they should be public knowledge of who's banned, for how long, and for what... Bannings of the week, Permabans, etc.

I'm always curious when I see, "Banned! I got OWNED!" under someone's name, what they did.

You can usually tell how somebody is banned by looking at their previous posts through the members profile.

Not when the threads or posts have been deleted or moved to the MOD only section.

If that were to happen, it's a rather serious offense.

We just banned 3 members this week, and everybody can still find out why they were banned.

Besides, only mods/admins should know who is banned and who is not.

It would be nice to have a list to make a few jokes about somebody, but I see it just causing more trouble for us to deal with.

Bannings are one of the few methods of discipline that the board has.

And discipline should generally be discussed in private. I am sure that there has been some time when you have been called into the bosses office and he has closed the door and yelled or at the very least counseled you for some problem.

Now occasionally the reason does get posted, but what is the point of airing out everyone's shortcomings or mild indiscretion?

And there currently are 8 members with temp bans and over a 1000 perm bans, and you want data on all of them?

Most of you already know what will get you banned on this Club.

The only public ones that I feel that you need to be aware of are the ones that I ban regarding the Bad guy forum. that way if that member comes back and you recognize their email or other personal information if they sell something you will be aware to stay clear of them and hopefully report them to a mod.

Other than that their is no other reason to know.
