I noticed I'm not getting the pop up notification when I get a new PM like I used to. It's helpful to have since you may not notice you've got a PM until the other guy goes offline. Does anyone else have that problem? Or if its been disabled can it be reinstated?

 

Yeah, I'd like that feature to be restored. I have problems with not noticing the bolded "1" in the PM box. The Popup was really helpful.

Odd..I just got a pop up notification that I had a new PM. I clicked OK, it opened my inbox(rather than the message) and in my inbox there were no new PMs...

maybe Ryan changed the setting back and it's giving us notifications queued from yesterday? Because the person it said the PM was from hasn't been online since yesterday afternoon...so obviously he didn't send me a PM now...

 

I turned the PM notifications back on ... that's one of those things some like, some don't. Of course it's only the ones who want it changed from however it's set that say anything. I'm sure now there will be some who complain about "the annoying pop up box"

 

Yes, but people have the option to turn it off themselves for their own preferences. Disabling it globally makes no sense if somebody DOES like it.. Right?

 

Probably only 1 out of 100 people even realize that option is there, unfortunately.

 

Well, they are morons. Let them complain!
