I figure this would be the place to post this because when I looked to the FAQ their were no directions stating where a thread of this topic should be sent or posted.

Can I become a moderator of the interior/exterior/audio section. The reason(s) why I want to become a moderator, specifically this section, is for the following reasons:

1) I am on the forum for about half of my day. I live on my computer and constantly check e-mail, surf, and search through the forum. Most of that time spent at my computer is on the forum.
2) I am not a freshie. I have spent the past 3 years on this forum gaining wisdom about our cars and trying to transfer that wisdom into helping other people. I know the rules, I know the workings of the FD and rotaries, and most importantly I am not wanting to become a moderator simply because I am new and think it would be cool (most newbies feel that way).
3) Since I have been on the forum I have sold/bought parts from alot of members. I have gained a few friends. I have nothing but positive feedback on everything related to the forum.
4) I am wanting to become a moderator of this particular section because that is where most of my knowledge lies. I want to use that passion to bring more light to the interior/exterior/audio section.
5) Their is only 1 current moderator of this section, IceMark. Although he is a good mod, I think it needs more moderator influence. Also, IceMark is a 2nd gen owner and alot of the threads in this section are in reference of 3rd Gen's, which I am an owner of.

So can I be considered? How do I go about this?

I will repost your request in the mod section for review. Give us a week to discuss (people are out on holiday) and we should have an answer.
