Power FC subforum threads disappear too quickly

It seems that in an effort to keep the site clean, older threads are disappearing from the first page of subforums more quickly. In the Power FC subforum though the threads are disappearing too fast, killing any real discussion. I made a post on a thread yesterday (it was about the PFC boost control kit) and the thread is no longer visible without doing a search. It's been only 24 hours.

Before the changes, the PFC subforum was limited to one main page. That's fine. Can somebody just put it back the way it was? It's not a high traffic part of the site, and the current setup has made it much more difficult to exchange information. Not everybody checks the forum on a daily basis.

Have you checked your settings? Your user settings has how many days of threads show up on default. Unless they are using the cropping feature that deletes threads after certain amount of time?

The forum setting is at 1 day. I am not sure why? Would you want it at 2 weeks, or 1 month? I can't change it personally though.

I just changed my personal setting to 2 weeks. I didn't know you could do that, and I doubt many other people do either. Can somebody change the forum default back to 2 weeks or a month or something, at least for some of these smaller subforums?
