how much to save this place?

Since this site has obviously become someone's source of revenue and gone the way of corporate, what exactly would it cost me to buy a controlling stake in this forum and buy out the corporate influence that's pretty much nulling out any bad experiences with paying vendors? Since god forbid a vendor is bad-mouthed on a forum they pay to advertise, and we all know you guys don't want to lose a penny in your book, what exactly would it cost to save this place? Or better yet, what's the going rate of getting a contributing member banned?

No, I'm buying my way to the apparent power that comes with sponsoring

(And kind of curious the going rate of various actions...)

A list of my powers would be nice, with a break-down of cost of each, incase for example I don't want my name flaunted on a specific section or something.

I don't think he sells moderating privileges. Just advertising. A advertiser can only moderate there vendor subsection that appears at the top of th3e forum, nothing more.

Apparently I really do need to say my replies were a joke...

If anybody would like to buy the site then you'll have to talk to BOOSTD7. He owns it and can tell you how much he would like for it Anything in seven figures would be fine I'm sure.

This is so predictable ...

I stand up for my friends at Atkins, first because the bashing had gone WAY over the deep end ... and then more vigorously because I was served with legal papers from their lawyer. So what does that get me? All the ****-talkers, mad that they can't bash Atkins unchecked anymore, start to attack me personally.

That tells me all I need to know about those doing the talking.

Since you know NOTHING about me personally, how much money is either made or lost off the site, or how I work with advertisers ... it's clear that you don't have a problem with talking out your ***. You have no issue with making totally unsubstantiated claims simply as a way of organizing negativity. That tells me all I need to know about your maturity and general level of respect for other people.

I have no room in my world for judgemental, self-righteous people such as yourself. Now why you wouldn't just drop the issue is beyond me. We all know you're not mature enough to see why you're wrong for passing judgement on a situation you know nothing about ... but even I, when I didn't have that level of maturity, knew to keep my mouth shut in cases where I didn't posess any facts.

What happens next is up to you.

Again, as stated, amongst the many times 'help' was offered in result of your reasoning, never once had you accepted, considering accepting, or divulged any information of cost. But then again, with experience in the field of colocations, hardware, and cost of bandwidth, it's not too difficult to figure cost. But then again, you're ignoring a major difference, as mentioned previously you claim your 'sponsor' was your dear friend, yet they threaten you legally and serve you papers (which would have no legal standing), the result of which was you getting all bent out of shape because you're dragged in the middle. All I ask is what it costs to have immunity to disputes. I lay claim to no righteousness, thus my indulding in this cost anyway, if I can advertise here, treat customers like ****, and get some help when they come back screaming, i'm the first in line! This is your forum, what happens next is up to you, the only thing I do is influence how mad you can get at me, but at the same time you really need to step outside the box and realize what I ask is exactly how you've made that entire scenario come out as. Yes, I can see it from your point of view, but from your point of view such drastic interjection is excessively biased, to your 'friends' whom serve you legal papers, who happen to also pay. But anyway, you're right, I don't/cant know everything that happened, I can however know law, all of the threads in question, most of the resulting situations (of which I have many of my own), and from such make a request based upon my belief of the situation, if it's wrong, I'll offer up arguement as to why I think otherwise, if you find it annoying or stupid, or immature, delete it and it won't show up again, or ban me if you feel it appropriate. However, this will be my last thread concerning anything dealing with it. And yes, I will agree, the first post made accusations (such as the extreme shift towards buisness/revenue driven over the past 3 years), which was partially affirmed in previous posts by you, and so forth, but seriously, what would happen if a guy showed up with 3 posts, sold a couple of 20B's that were allegedly rebuilt and in good condition, about a week after use they all die, the guy refuses to take them back (even though he offered a warranty), and people started to complain. Would you be comforted or any less upset if a couple of his friends came in and deleted any prior warning? How about if you bought one of those engines are the fact thinking everything was ok, then later found out that those threads that said this was happening had been deleted? I know, I know, your forum, you do what you want, but part of that means we get to bitch about the way you do it! Though, the nice part about being the leader of the politics is you can execute at any time. (And god, I would love to be actually proven wrong for once)

All the kettleman groupies had it great for months, relentless Atkins' bashing ... intimidating potential new customers, and exacerbating the situation FAR beyond the point of any return. That was allowed unchecked for way longer than it should have been, how many times did you act to try and quell the flames and keep things under control?

The problem isn't Atkins, it isn't a few bad jobs. The problem is certain personalities just cannot accept responsibility ... and then it's only amplified by the Jeckyll and Hyde syndrome so many forum junkies suffer from. So what happens in this situation is a motor blows, somebody cannot accept any reason outside their own, and the keyboard brings out the worst. Others jump on that bandwagon because hey, why the hell not? It's just a website right, what difference does it make how much trash I talk? Well, it does matter ...

If I was such a sellout to Atkins, why was it ever allowed to go on for so long? Why are other vendors allowed to ever be spoken of negatively on this forum, if your completely judgemental rationalization were true? I'm sure you'll find some reason to invalidate that. You do realize that Atkins has been an advertiser here for almost 2 years, for the entire time this whole issue was going on ... why didn't I just stop it way back then? You don't know the facts, yet you are too in love with yourself to come to that realization.

It's pretty simple, you can bring up negative dealings with somebody ... anybody, and do it in a respectful way. It's pretty easy to talk rationally and settle things peacefully. But with this whole Atkins ordeal, the end goal was NEVER to have things settled peacefully and move on. The goal was to rile up as much negative sentiment as possible, it was retribution ... reprisal wrought from an immature mind and the inability to see any point other then their own.

You, while not exactly the same, seem to suffer from the same dysfunction. You've made it crystal clear prior that you have no desire to see points other than your own. I'm sure you'll disect this and find some small loophole to exploit as a way of further validating your claims.

And god, I would love to be actually proven wrong for once
You already have been, yet you don't even know it. You're a legend in your own mind! You speak to things of which you have no insight or knowledge, that alone makes you wrong. Yet I already know full well that your mindset won't allow the realization that you're completely off base with this entire line of thinking.
