Hey admins! [RANT]
Why do you guys ("admins") keep sending these "...RX7Club.com wants you back" email messages? I can understand one or two after your "bigger and better then ever...software and server upgrades" but c'mon, there are so many now that I have lost count.
I know I can disable email messages from administrators in my personal settings but I don't because these messages are suppose to be important... Maybe for those occasional server upgrades and website updates.
Another thing, I get the feeling you guys have ambitions to grow this site into something BIG like an AOL of the 90s or the current MySpace with these non-stop email notifications. You have to remember this is a very car specific site. You can only grow so much with the dwindling number of RX7s out there. (I heard there from a friend there's a new 7 coming, but whatever...)
Also, isn't there some kind of statistic out there that people change cars every few years? Have you thought about why people don't come back to this site? Maybe they don't have a RX7 (or rotary) anymore?
I'm a rotary-head-for-life in my heart but unfortunately in real life I don't have the time for one now.
So what's the point of telling people to come back when they don't have a reason to come back? Even with your "bigger and better" community and "upgrades and updates" YOU'RE NOT MYSPACE. (disclaimer; I don't use MySpace or have any affliations with them but it's a good example to make my point of view)
So please stop it. It's not a big nuisance to delete the message, but the thought "why are you doing this" sticks in your head. Makes you wonder who's running the site of your beloved Seven?
(Shoot, where is that head scratching smiley when you need it!)

Don't try guessing again. That's a new forum you speak of, the emails that the OP refers to have been sent out years before.

In your personal settings here, turn off the setting that allows you to get email from admins and moderators. That will solve the issue.

See, make sure that box is not checked...
Not rocket science... not getting why the OP is having a cow over such as simple thing...
