Lotta talk in the lounge about guns. Can we get a gun section as a subsection of the lounge?

Maybe a computers/electronics/tech section as well?

 

I dont know about a gun section. This is a car forum.

Its just gonna be a bunch of disagrements of which gun is better.

 

I actually started a PC/Electronics section but got routed with negative comments about it.

As far as a gun section I don't know if that is a area we want to encourage people to discuss. There are plenty of serious gun guys out there, but a section like that would just attract too many e-punks I think. Besides there are tons of serious gun forums out there with plenty people who don't use terms like "gat" or "strapped" yo.

 

I say do it, if it doesn't pan out, it doesn't pan out.

I'm sure it won't, but why not?

 

If anything happens, which it probably won't, combine EVERYTHING into one section and make it "Personal Hobbies". Don't just make a section for electronics and then a section for guns. Next thing people will want a motorcyle section.

im a pretty big gun nut, but i dont think there should be a section dedicated to guns. i foresee too many fanboys toting one manufacturer over another and there will be a bunch of bickering back and forth about which gun is better. i dont mind the occasional thread about "looking to buy a gun" or "post pics of you guns", its a nice break from the usuall lounge material, but a section dedicated to it will just lead to many threads sent to the DoO section cause youll never here an unbiased opinion.
