Lightbulb Going mobile

I wonder is there's any reason why rx7club.com can't be viewed on a cell phone. Can't see it on my sidekick 2008 for that matter, theres many other forums that I can see though. on a side note anyone has the G1? is it any good?

Legible on my Blackberry, but the avatars do push the forum into a harder to read display.

Looks perfectly fine on an iphone and G1 IMO. Maybe it's your shitty sidekick. Leave the sidekick for highschool kids.

only issue I see is the top bar is pushed to the side of the screen on my storm. Which means I have to side scroll to see anything.

This place is slow enough on a computer, no way in hell I'd try it with 2G and a smartphone

Looks fine from many different WAP browsers.

Maybe you need to look into another browser for your phone.

It always gives me the "Could Not get Page" pop up and it says "The web browser service encountered an error while getting the page "https://www.rx7club.com/" ugh, can't wait till I get the G1 lol.

I think it time for the 7club to release a mobile version, all these pictures are killing it on my phone.

It worked acceptably on my Blackberry 957, and displays fine on my Storm.

However, a real WAP version of the forum would be quite nice and I've brought this up in the Moderators forum previously. Since the topic didn't receive any replies, I guess few people view the forum on mobile devices. WAP is till far faster then the full browser and far easier to read on a small screen.

I am on my phone, it took over 600kb to open this thread alone. I have unlimited data but if I didn't I couldn't even afford to think about opening this forum. I know this is a very tech savy forum and I just think we should keep up with the times. I can't use the internet at work because some d bag was dl **** and ruined it for everyone and I can't go with out my 7 fix. ima stay on this because its something I would like to see happen

Bump I've been thinking about this for a long time, I check my pm's
damn near hourly and the slide bar for private msgs is a PITA when
you don't have a stylus. I'd be willing to put in some free dev time if
you want to roll with a WAP version. 99% of it can be done with just
simple CSS2.1 and PHP5. Lemme know if you want to pursue it.
