drifting is considered a racing technique by most.

bad idea for a forum

it'd be nice if everyone was a serious drifter and non drifters didn't hate drifting so much

as the community stands right now, 99% of online drifters are just wannabe kids who ask dumb questions. the entire section will be little more than a huge flame fest

The "Race Techniques" section is where all Drift, Autocross, and Drag threads are located.

I don't think so those guys are hardcore into autocross and there cones... I think a drift section would be good.... I would like to bang heads with people in regards to there setups and such..... Just recently I found out that AWR was making individual camber adjusters for the rear on an FC I am sure that I would have found out sooner if we had a section in here for drift.....

And someone said that 99% percent of "drifters" are wannabe dumbasses....
Then what do you call 99% of rx7 owners.... they bought a car for a dollar and now they can't afford or understand it????

Well I am for it, but can we instead call it the Drift/Junkyard Forum?

They can talk about how neato their drift charms are. As well as the secrets of ghetto bodywork and how to effectively use zip ties.

AWESOME!!! Count me in!!

Had it ever crossed your mind to start a thread about drift setups?

And isn't adjustable camber more than just a drift thing?

You know, I bought my car not wanting to drift, never even saw Initial D. I think drifting is pretty lame unless you have a tire sponsorship, and even then... still lame.

My $.02

And why are you calling me a dumbass, exactly? Are you saying my cars were made for made tyte doritos? Or are you saying because I don't drift, I don't understand my cars? For what it's worth I've done plenty to upgrade the suspension of a street driven vehicle, just because I didn't like it, I don't need any stupid excuse, like drifting.

I said that 99% of rx7 owners are dumbasses... If you want to qualify your self in that group then you said it not me... Secondly I never mentioned anything about Initial D (you did).... And whats "made for made tyte doritos??? I don't discount anyone moding their car for any reason... and I am not saying that one reason is better than another. I can tell that you don't respect or enjoy the sport of drifting and thats fine... But don't make me out to be a bad chap.

STFU noob. What does being an "rx7" guy have to do with willful destruction of the cars we love. Go hug a tree.

does this look like destruction to you.... ??? and I thought you were cool for the "Futurama" sig.. I guess I was mistaken... Anyway I keep an open mind about all forms of expression.. and if it brings the fans and sells the tickets/product I am cool with it... and if only because that mean driver pay out for me... I did road course racing with the SCCA and NASA since I was 16 years old and I never got a check for coming in first... but I still rememeber the cost of r compounds and making sure I had the best engine the class allowed.
